The theme of the 2023 conference was:
Foreigners. Enemies. Heretics. Faces of Fear in the History of Eastern Europe.
The two-day conference featured 22 papers from scientists from 8 European countries. There were stimulating discussions and sharing of findings from research on cross-cultural societal fear in the past.
